About Love Grows Here
Makayla Daigle, LCPC-c
Love Grows Here is a welcoming therapeutic environment where individuals and families can focus on their personal growth and well-being. I am dedicated to helping clients build the skills needed for a brighter tomorrow. My passion for therapy and commitment to providing a safe space for self-exploration drives the core of Love Grows Here. Through a personalized and trauma informed approach, I aim to make a positive impact on the lives of every person who walks through the Love Grows Here door.

I was born and raised in Maine, lived in Boston during the early development of my career, and returned to Maine in 2019 to share my love for Music Therapy with our community. In 2020 I applied to grad school and over the next 2 years completed my education and training to become a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. Working with individuals from all backgrounds and ages fuels my love for this field. I have experience working with clients from all walks of life, but my specialization is in "littles" (clients ages 4-11) and families. I have primarily worked with individuals struggling with Anxiety, Depression, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, but also have experience working with Personality Disorders. Regardless of what my clients are working on, I approach them without judgement and with empathy. Something you'll often hear me say is, "Nothing changes if nothing changes", so why not start today? I can't wait to meet you!
